Pre Classic Paralympians shine at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games

Over 1,000 Para athletes competed across 164 medal events in Para athletics, the largest sport on the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games programme by participating athletes and number of medal events.

From Team USA’s Hunter Woodhall’s golden moment in the men’s 400m T62 final, to the Netherlands’ Marlene van Gansewinkel medaling in three women’s T64 finals, the number of extraordinary performances in the French capital was inspiring for generations around the world.
